Deinonychus & Coloborhynchus birds feed on a dinosaur carcass. Deinonychus was a dromaeosaur (raptor) from the early Cretaceous. They were about 12 feet long and 3 1/2 feet high at the hip. They had the trademark, long toe claw and sharp talons on their hands. It is assumed they were feathered, but no fossil specimen has turned up with soft tissue or feather evidence.
